Recipe – Lamb & Beef Curry

Preparation Time: ±10 minutes

Cooking Time: Slow cook until tender


What You’ll Need

  • 1 kg Beef / Mutton / Lamb

  • 3 teaspoons Spices 4 Africa Lamb & Beef Wet Mix

  • 1 large onion (chopped)

  • 2 medium tomatoes (grated)

  • 5 medium potatoes (cut in halves)

  • Salt to taste

  • 4–5 tablespoons oil

  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)


Method

  1. Heat oil in a wide, thick-based pot.

  2. Fry chopped onions until golden brown.

  3. Add 3 teaspoons of Lamb & Beef Wet Mix.

  4. Add meat and salt to taste, and allow to cook.

  5. Add 1 cup of water at a time, allowing the meat to cook until tender.

  6. Once the water reduces, add grated tomatoes and simmer.

  7. Add potatoes with enough water to cover and cook on low heat until soft.

  8. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve.
